ABORT. a word I associate to Mr. Dismay, an action I dare not to partake. High expectation mixed with enthusiasm then all of a sudden aborting the entire hike? You really know how to break someone's heart... Mt. Tapulao : Bislig River :: Where are the Crags? If I could erase one hiking experience... please take this.... Where are the Crags? I couldn't say more...... took a wrong turn, misled, miscommunicated, misinformation, missed the summit. What went wrong? Everything..... Charge to Experience. Mt. Tarak : Papaya River :: Ferocious Habagat Weather wise? never expected Habagat sometimes assumes he is a typhoon or an LPA. Rain poured mid day 'til the next day..... non stop. Such a Bed day weather.... another zero possibility of getting a summit view, I opted to enjoy the cold water of Papaya River...then coiled in sleep inside my tent. Few hours after we left Bataan, the area was then flooded as reported. Sta. Ines : Mt. Tukduan Banoi - Mt. Irid :: Battlefield After several river cross and hours of travel the supposed to be a back-to-back Mt. Irid and Mt. Tukduan Banoi climb got aborted. The mountains mentioned became the battle field between Philippine Military and NPA that day. Cause: Lack of clear communication between the Brgy. Captain and the Hired Jeepney Driver.... or ... hmmm? Mt. Cristobal :: Misty Cristy Covered with fog after an overnight heavy rain, cancelled our hike all the way up to Mt. Cristobal's summit. Just a few minutes meters away from its peak, Cristy cloaked herself and hide from us the entire morning. Seeing zero possibility to summit it, the group decided to packed up and descend. This was the first time a mountain broke my heart
