" This journal is proudly Philippin-made. It is composed of 240 pages, counting both sides, of ivory-colored, acid-free paper. It was hand bound with traditional long stitch using waxed cotton cord and can be laid flat and opened up to 360 degrees without damaging the spine. The cover is made of genuine cowhide leather." - Alusina Handbound Books For the past years I have been travelling and documenting my climbs, beacheneering, island tours or even a simple unforgettable event. Would it be nice if I could document those events on a customized, antique-look journal? Alunsina Handbound Books has a variety of designs however model RJB7 caught my attention. It uses a chopstick that serves as a lock. I requested to have my initials embossed at the front cover and soldered "iamnoempty" at the back. The pages are stitched so it has a fixed number of pages. So if you're planning to refill it, not possible. These journals are available, with limited stocks through its suppliers (I visited AC+632 in Greenbelt 5 and FIRMA in Greenbelt 3 but got unlucky because all items were sold out), I got mine through Alunsina's official Facebook page. What's beautiful about ordering online was that I was able to request to have my initials embossed/soldered, though it took 1 week before I got mine, but it was worth the wait. I am excited to document all my 2014 travels using my Alunsina journal. For Travel Junkies...... Grab one now!
